The search for Mr. and Miss GenSan 2010 highlighted this years TUNA FESTIVAL. Jenel Labiana and Genevieve Mutia reign as Mr. and Miss GenSan respectively.
Newly crowned Miss GenSan Genevieve Mutia awed the audience with her beauty, charm and wit as she answered the question pushing her up to the title.
Jenel Labiana, enthralled the crowd as he was declared Mr. GenSan.
Aside from the highlight of the search for Mr. and Ms. GenSan 2010, the Mardi Gras made the remarkable message in purchasing Tuna, which is the pride of General Santos City. Mardi Gras was held in Lagao Gym on September 26, 2010. Many schools surrounding GenSan have joined the contest. The competition is divided into Elementary level and Secondary level. There are eight contestants in Elementary level while nine contestants in Secondary level.
The judges and the audiences, present in the venue, felt the electrifying feeling in every move that the contestants made. But the SPED High School stands up the most and got the 1st place followed by General Santos City High School who got 2nd place. In Elementary level, School for the Arts got the 1st place.
The Tuna Festival 2010 started with lighting up the sky with a grand fireworks display. Everyone was amazed by this surprise.
The Tuna Festival 2010 Grand Showdown was held at Lagao Gym. Everyone in the showdown did their very best to win.
